Overview
Diagnostic Description
Carapace with weak and interrupted transverse striae usually with minute spines and uniramous setae, laterally with some acute spines. Rostrum triangular, with 4 lateral teeth. Frontal margins deeply concave. Abdominal somites unarmed. Telson incompletely subdivided, endopod of uropod much wider than long. Anterior margin of sternite 3 produced forwards. Eyes elongate, cornea not dilated. Article 1 of antennule with 3 distal spines, mesiodistal one smaller than others. Article 1 of antenna with distomesial spine short; article 2 usually with short distomesial and distolateral spines. Mxp3 merus with 2 spines on flexor margin. P1 short and stout, setose. P2–4 short; dactyli curved and strongly biunguiculate. G1 and G2 present.
